daagwerk Documentation Team & User Management
Chapter 13
Team & User Management
Invite users, understand and assign roles and permissions.
Team & User Management
What it is
Under System → Users (Admin) you manage your team: invite people, assign roles, maintain access.
Inviting users
- Open System → Users.
- Invite user – enter the email (and name) and pick a role.
- The invited person receives an email and sets their password via the link – after that they’re ready to go.
Roles & permissions
| Role | Typically allowed to |
|---|---|
| Booker | Track their own time, view their own reports |
| Manager | Additionally: team bookings, view rates/revenue, company favorites, shared presets, import, view users |
| Admin | Additionally: user & tenant settings, branding, backups, cleanup |
| Super Admin | Cross-tenant administration |
Sensitive information (hourly rates, revenue) is reserved for managers and above – including in exports and statements.
Changing a role
In the user list you change a person’s role. Make sure at least one person always keeps Admin rights.
Internal account roles (don’t confuse these)
Independent of the login roles, you set the internally responsible people per account (account manager, customer success, customer contact) – they are the recipients of the notifications, regardless of whether they have a daagwerk login.
Tips & pitfalls
- Grant Manager rights deliberately: only then are rates/revenue and team bookings visible.
- Deactivate people who have left rather than losing their booking history.
